During the IPAC meeting, Jean Mensa invited some spiritualists to cast out demons – Asiedu Nketia

Johnson Asiedu Nketia, the General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), revealed that the head of the Electoral Commission, Jean Mensa, had invited some spiritualists to conduct spells to summon demons during an IPAC meeting.

He said that the Jean Mensa-led EC engaged in various enigmatic actions, such as spiritual prayers to subdue alleged demons, during a meeting with some political parties.

On Friday, August 19, 2022, the chief scribe of the NDC, who has represented the party at IPAC meetings, claimed the party later chose to boycott the sessions during the afternoon political talk show “Dwabrem” on OTEC FM.

In April 2021, the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) was supposed to examine several election reforms in Ghana, but the National Democratic Congress (NDC) declined to go.

The purpose of the gathering was to provide the chance for the major political parties to assess the general elections scheduled for December 7, 2020.

General Mosquito informed Dr. Cash, the show’s host, that “the National Democratic Congress (NDC) denied an invitation by the Electoral Commission of Ghana to attend an IPAC conference to assess the 2020 Parliamentary and Presidential Elections.”

The party claimed in a statement that it was protesting the Electoral Commission’s alleged bias throughout the voting process as justification for its actions.

The NDC also justified its decision to abstain from IPAC sessions by pointing to a number of EC irregularities.
