The prospective nursing trainee’s family has made a startling disclosure regarding the main suspect in the kidnapping, murder, and covert burial of the victim in Mankessim.
The pastor is known to the family, according to Georgina Asor Botchwey’s relatives, as the sister of the deceased’s boyfriend.
The 22-year-sister, old’s according to the family, told her boyfriend that she was at Ankaful Nursing Training College for an interview.
The pastor reportedly called Miss Asor Botchewy after that and requested to speak with her.
The victim left her interview and went to meet her future brother-in-law.
The woman was unaware that the pastor had conspired with Nana Crack, the chief who serves as the Tufuhen of Ekumfi Akwakrom, to abduct and attack her.
After killing her, the two suspects buried her in one of the chief’s rooms.
The deceased had been missing for three weeks, and this was widely reported in the town in the Central Region.
The notice circulating read, “Georgina Botchwey went for an interview at Cape Coast on Wednesday and up till now she cannot be found; her phone is off. Please, anybody with information about her should call 0208503126 or 0247048711.”
After receiving this notification, a departed friend expressed concern over Georgina’s meeting with her sister’s boyfriend.
After being detained at Cape Coast, the priest confessed to the crime.
The body of Georgina was later exhumed at the house after he directed the police there.
The chief has been detained in the interim after reports of his accomplice’s detention caused him to flee.
