I think there should be a reorganization following IMF discussions – Justin Frimpong Kodua
After the IMF’s discussions, in my opinion, there should be a reorganization. Justin Frimpong Kodua In response to calls for a reshuffle, Justin Frimpong Kodua, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) new general secretary, has pleaded with Ghanaians to maintain their composure and support President Akufo-Addo.
He said that while change was good, a government reshuffle needed to happen quickly.
In an interview with Asempa FM’s “Ekosii sen” program, Justin Frimpong Kodua expressed his opinion that a reorganization of government appointees will be necessary after the government complete its negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
“Change is good, but it needs to be timely. Let’s all have faith that President Akufo-Addo will act in the best interests of the nation and party.
The NPP General Secretary stated, “I think reshuffle should occur after the IMF discussions.”
The President provided an explanation of why cabinet reorganization might not be an option under his government when speaking to Tamale’s North Star Radio on Monday, August 8.
He claims that the majority of his picks have done well.
The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), according to the President, is encouraging calls for a reshuffle in order to topple his administration.
“Many of them have produced excellent work for me. They have produced a lot, and that is what I consider.
“If the output matches the expectations, I don’t have any compelling reasons to heed the call,” the speaker said. The appeals are made for a variety of reasons, including the NDC’s desire to topple the administration. The President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo stated that there are individuals who are also looking for employment.
Following this, there have been more calls for a reshuffle, with governance experts stating that it is essential, particularly at this difficult time for the nation.
