If Ghana had a strong democracy, Akufo-Addo and most of his officials would have been detained – Oliver Vormawor
Mawuse Oliver Barker-Vormawor, the leader of the # FixTheCountry Movement, has blasted the NPP administration for the country’s escalating levels of corruption and the most recent findings in the 2021 Auditor General’s report.
According to the Attorney, President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo and several of his appointees would already be in jail if Ghana’s processes were functioning.
He gave his justification in a Facebook post published today, September 1, which was seen by BeatDigital News. He said that the president and several of his appointees had stolen from the nation’s coffers.
Oliver claims that the NPP administration under Akufo-Addo has committed more crimes than the first (Dr. Kwame Nkrumah) and third (Dr. Hilla Limann) Republican Constitutions combined.
He wants Akufo-Addo removed from office.
“In a functioning democracy, Nana Addo and several of his appointees will see the inside of a jail cell for the immoral levels of theft we are witnessing,” he wrote.
He continues “Nkrumah & Limann were overthrown for less!”
