NPP would lose the election in 2024 with Bawumia, I’m the best candidate-Kennedy Agyapong

Kennedy Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia would lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) into opposition, according to Ohene Agyapong, a candidate for the role of flagbearer in the 2024 general elections.

Kennedy Agyapong, the MP for the Assin Central district, said in an interview with Suncity FM over the weekend that no one could stop him from running for the party’s flagbearer position.

The loudmouth lawmaker claimed that just three percent (3%) of Vice Presidents were able to win presidential elections right away following their terms in office.

My study indicates that just 3% of vice presidents have succeeded in ascending to the President. I’m hesitant to take such a gamble. As a consequence, I’ve entered,” he said.

He said, “So it is apparent that NPP would lose the elections if they make such a mistake. No one can prevent me from attaining my objectives. I will easily overcome them.

Kennedy Agyapong said he is the only option to assist the present economic problems be resolved.

Why would you take such a risk when every government has lost support as a result of the global economic crisis and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine?

I arrived for that purpose. People are misguided who think it’s a ploy to garner votes for Alan or D. Bawumia, he remarked.

Kennedy Agyapong went on to list a few initiatives he would request to help the economy recover from its present state. I’m going to run for President in style, he said.
