Odike will join NDC and defeat NPP in 2024.
According to Mr. Akwasi Addai Odike, the founder and head of the United Progressive Party (UPP), he is willing to form an alliance with the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in order to dethrone the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the general elections of 2024.
The hardships Ghanaians are going through, according to Odike, call for a change in the current government.
He contends that the umbrella party would win the election if it forms a coalition with the NDC.
The head of the UPP is pleading with the smaller parties to follow in his footsteps and unite with the biggest opposition group to overthrow the NPP-led government.
In order to achieve election success, Odike said, “I am ready for partnership with the NDC and to assist launch a constructive campaign, particularly in the Ashanti area.”
“An historic electoral win via a political coalition pact will occur in the 2024 elections,” Odike said.
He said that preparations for the meeting with the NDC’s executives are well underway.
