The GJA elects Albert Dwumfour as its new leader.

Group Albert Dwumfour Albert Kwabena Dwumfour, the Tobinco Group’s head of corporate affairs, has been chosen to lead the Ghana Journalist Association (GJA).

After Friday’s elections, Mr. Dwumfour triumphed over two formidable opponents.

He received 233 votes, while Gayheart Mensah received 181 votes, making him the winner.

Dave Agbenu, editor of the Ghanaian Times and a former general secretary of the GJA, received 143 votes to finish third.

Roland Affail Monney, the departing president, is in charge.
